The Bottom Line
Though the GR86 seats twice as many passengers, the Porsche 718 leaves it in the dust when it comes to performance and would demolish the Toyota in a race. And the GR86 has other issues like the pedal placement which isn’t heel toeing optimal and its standardized brakes are not track worthy, making the Porsche 178 Boxster the winner.
